Research and Strategy Expert will assist in strategy development and implementation, draft amendments to legislation, perform legislation compliance verification.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Master degree in Law, Technology, Public Administration or other related field.
• Knowledge of the EU and Ukrainian legislation on technical regulation.
• Strong analytic skills and proven experience on cross-check of legislation regarding contradictory regulations.
• Legal drafting skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Ukrainian and English with highest standard written literacy.
• Experience in analysis of the EU laws and drafting or amending legislation.

Indicative duties and responsibilities:

• Development of strategies and road-maps.
• Drafting methodologies.
• Drafting amendments to legal acts regulating market surveillance.
• Feasibility studies and research.
• Legal support of the responsible department of beneficiary ministry.
• Preparation of recommendations and supporting materials.
• Work with market surveillance bodies and other stakeholders.
• Participation in trainings.

Contract Duration and Timing:

Full time position based in Kyiv. The total duration of the consultancy is expected to be 6 months with possible extension.
